This collaboration with Phi Yaan-Zek and Andy Edwards started out as a studio jam and showcases the concept of Steve as a bassist in an improv band. This led to a series of Ley Lines albums, they are very different to Steve’s other works but the musicianship on these is top drawer. There’s more than a hint of prog rock here which pleases me a lot.
